Rajnikanth: Real name of Rajnikanth is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad. He has born on December 12, 1949 in a Maharashtrian family. He started his film career with Apoorva Raagangal (1975), a Tamil film directed by K. Balachander.

Rajinikanth also worked as playback singer, screenwriter and a producer. Side by side he is also involved in politics of Tamil Nadu.

He also receives many awards for his great achievement and also get India's third highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Indian cinema. He is also known as "superstar” of Tamil cinema. Rajini also worked for in India Cinema and other nations including United States. For playing role in Sivaji he becomes the highest paid actor in Asia after Jackie Chan.
